In 2014 Russian president Vladimir Putin invaded and occupied Crimea in Ukraine. Do you seriously think he will be happy with one more chunk? Or the entire country of Ukraine? When the dictator says he wants to “restore the empire” do you think he only means Ukraine?
This episode is eerily reminiscent of the appeasement of Adolf Hitler by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain in 1938 to let the Nazi’s occupy Czechoslovakia, and that will be the end of it. We can then have “peace for our times”. How did that work out for the world?
Many experts, diplomats and leaders including President Biden, interpret Putin’s actions to mean restoring the Soviet empire. That means not only the countries that make up the former Czechoslovakia, but also the countries that make up the former Yugoslavia, and many more including Poland and half of Germany.
History dictates when these megalomaniacal dictators succeed in annexing their bucket list of countries, drunk with power and success they don’t stop. Hitler, Stalin, Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire, their direction is always stuck in forward.
If Putin gets half of Germany, how about all of Germany? How about repeating some of his predecessors’ actions and march into Paris? London? How about New York?
He has already threatened to launch nuclear and cyber attacks against us and anybody else who gets in his way. Who knows to what extant he will interfere with American elections in 2024.

Shame on politicians and pundits who cozy up to him. Their actions are anti-America, immoral, disgusting and completely reprehensible.
These scoundrels paint a picture of Putin as a rational authoritarian. He is not rational, he is a war criminal, a mass murderer, a common thief and he must be stopped by any means possible before we have to find out if there are parts of New York he would not be advised to invade.
